I saw this title and thought, yse I'm dealing with an entitled adult child, MY DAD!! How difficult the journey to learn how to be your own parent when no one taught you how to take care of yourself, because you were actually expected to take care of them! But this is a subject for an entirely different but related family dysfunction/trauma, the "Parentified Child". I appreciate your work so much, it's so important, thank you!!

Yes - when they only reach out if they need something. And that's the only time they're "nice". Or when they feel like we owe them something because "they didn't ask to be here" -- at what age do we put our foot down? At what age do they take control of their own lives instead of sitting around blaming parents for every inconvenience in their life?

Very interesting, might watch on Friday 12!
Cheers from France.
Also, sorry but I have to say how GORGEOUS you are. You remind me of Annette O'Toole! (Superman's love interest in Smallville in the Christopher Reeves movies)
