One of my first videos on this channel was how horrible all the Minecraft Mob Votes so today I thought to show how I would pick the mobs because my answer is clearly the only correct one.

Edit: the dopamine hit from having a comment with a lot of likes is pretty nice. Also as people have pointed it out it's mostly Twitter's fault, which is nothing new tbh

The biggest problem is how mojang describe these mobs during their introduction, it always seems like it will be something better than what they actually give us with the final product

There's literally zero reason why Mojang couldn't add all of the mobs

We picked the sniffer to get a ton of new plants, then Mojang gave us *two.* It’s not our fault they scammed us

I think that the problem is that Mojang tends to make the boring mobs sound cooler than they really are and so people end up voting for the useless mobs over the others.

I think we should blame Mojang actually cuz every time they lie to us or disappoint us with the mobs

The Phantom: looked like a cool flying mob and ended up being super annoying

The Allay: has a nice mechanic but its super rare making it not worth it

The Sniffer: the most decent one but i think needs more plants

The Armadillo: actually looks like a good mob (i still prefer the crab tho)

2017: we picked the the phantom because the way it was described we thought we were getting a dragon that would be useful because we didn’t have mending yet Mojang made it look a lot cooler then it was (see the original mob design)

2020: up to this point mob votes were really small with just a pole on twitter and 10k-20k votes dream announces he wants glow squid and millions of dumb 6 year olds vote for it (literally the tragedy of all time)

2021: in my opinion this was probably the best mob vote because it wasn’t rigged or pushed to 1 side we got exactly what we voted for but they were very useless mobs mostly don’t do anything the glare was literally F3 the tuff golam sounded cool but I mean people voted for alley because it looked cute (can you blame them)

2022: it’s been debunked a million times it was extremely rigged we only got a description of the sniffer and we never actually knew what any of them did Mojang ended up ruining it and adding one of the worst mobs of all time literally just for lore 😔 (dude it’s super hard to get takes hours to hatch and only gives You flowers)
