I feel like Mojang is somewhat too stubborn when being against some of these mobs. Their reasoning is understandable for the most part, but they could easily make work arounds.

Love how Mojang thinks that kids will approach sharks if they’re docile in Minecraft but they’re okay with human trafficking and slavery

Alligators are a lot more “docile” than crocodiles. I think alligators should be added and could function exactly like polar bears, except when the player holds food they become hostile

Solution for the shark problem, Mojang.
Just make it a neutral mob(attacks only when you attack it). Like the wolves and bees.

I live in Australia, where we know crocodiles and sharks are dangerous. But dolphins are just as dangerous as sharks, but they can be that way for fun, not just for hunting. I can see the reasoning for some of the mobs not being added, but for some others, it feels a little unfair.

Not allowing any hostile mobs based on real creatures is absolutely ridiculous and seriously limiting/boring.

I remember reading about the red dragon as a kid, along with rubies and some other stuff. Back then you could scroll to the bottom of the minecraft wiki and find articles relating to these things, I used to get so excited thinking it might mean they’d be added in the next update

I think what would be cool would be if Mojang made a mega vote for a chance of four of every rejected mobvote mob to be in the game.

Their rule saying all hostile mobs have to be fantasy creatures is already broken, seeing as silverfish attack you.

The mob I want that I’m not sure will ever happen is the Butterfly.
I’m not sure why I want this, but I think it would be very cool to have butterflies and moths!

Personally, I would love to see penguins. It would fantastic if you could tame them and they would help you hunt fish.

I can imagine to fix controvesy, the sharks only get agressive if you come to close to them or if you attack first. They could be pacified for a short time using fish.

The ghost miners sounds an awful lot like the "Fairies" in Terraria.

I remember when Mojang considered adding the pigman villagers. I always thought it was such a creepy idea - just consider the fact that Steve is completely alone in an infinite world and the closest thing to a civilization is a village inhabited by pigmen. I never liked the current villagers either, but it's a much better idea than pigmen.

i feel like mojang is missing out on so much potential by not adding things like villager guards and sharks
