The AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT is here! Let's see how it does vs the Nvidia GTX 1650 Super!
Don't forget to like & sub if you liked the video! I'll add some shopping links below.

Shopping links will be added when these products are listed!

Notes:
- I'm still in the process of retesting some games with certain GPUs, that's why you won't see every GPU listed in every game benchmark.
- After filming I was told we would not be held to an artificial week-latear NDA for certain partner cards. Expect an update with the custom Gigabyte model in the next days.
- Questions? Ask! Just remember the results that make it into the video are only a part of the testing suite, so if you want to know something just shoot :)

My GPU Test Rig:
CPU - Intel Core i9-9900K
Mobo - ASUS ROG Maximus VI Gene
Memory - G.Skill 3200MHz C14 (2x8GB)
PSU - Seasonic Prime Titanium 850W
SSD - Samsung 970 PRO 1TB
SSD - Samsung T5 2TB

I would just get the 4GB version for now, and download the other 4 GB later.

It's not a bad product. Just bad pricing. In 3 and a half years we have a product that costs about the same and performs about the same (RX 480/580)... hmmm... that's not progress.

Been waiting for a new content, well here it is!

This would have been a great card if it had come out a year ago instead of the 590. Right now it's rather meh...or overpriced.

As many expected before the release.
Its more or less an RX480 in terms of price and performance.

I went with the ASRock RX 5700 XT Taichi 8GB OC+ for my build. I got it from Newegg and it comes with a free router, Xbox Game Pass, and Borderlands 3 or Ghost Recon Breakpoint. I'm really excited to use it when it shows up, and I loved your review of it!

Awesome. Thank you for reviewing my gpu. Rx 5500 xt. Well, my version is from Saphire, but with only one fan. It still looks nice.
I hope it will perform similarly

Exceptional review. Unfortunately my budget is $1.00 right now

The pricing will come down once the leftover stocks of RX 570/580's run dry. The question now is WHEN that will happen, they seem to have a bunch of them still being sold everywhere, not to mention the second hand market's stock of them, which seems to have no end.

I am not ok with it's price. Amd should drop the price for making that card a real budget king. Works same as Rx 590 also the price is same like Rx 590, we can say that Rx 590 is reborn 👍

I went with the 8GB Asus version - which is a huge improvement for me over the GTX 1050TI that recently crapped out placing my new X570 Master build at a severe disadvantage, so with Ryzen 7 3800X, 32GB Gskill 3600 Trident RGB - just ordered it and looking forward to receiving it...

The asus dual 5500xt looks and sounds like a great card - and surprisingly it has an RGB syrup on it (wasn’t expecting that since it’s a budget oriented card) and the upgraded fan design. I think that’s the one I’m going to go for!

I picked up 5500 xt 8Gb model and I like it. Very nice card, runs cooler, quiet and I have it running on PCIe 4.0 on B450 motherboard (yes PCIe 4.0 can be enabled on some B450 motherboard because you can download previous revisions of BIOS that supports PCIe 4.0 before AMD removed this feature for B450 motherboards).

I think that you are the only YouTuber that got both 4/8 gb versions of the card

Wow I'm impressed with the performance that almost beat the 1650nvidea. Ty for the review. The Corsair case look great.

The one thing that was not mentioned was Gsync and FreeSync, My 4K LG 65" tv that I uses for gaing is FreeSync so I bouight the Sapphire RX5500 XT 4Gb. I found that there are some NVIDIA Gsync able to run Freesync but it seamed like a workaround. My 5500 RX is a good upgrade in my new PC from my old PC with a 680 TI card and a lot of my old games on steam do really look a lot better

Wow it seems like AMD is getting better and better day by day.

Well If you wouldn't bitch for highest quality it still rock everything especially with free sync 70fps.

I have a Vega 56 for some e sport games which is just horrible. Read smthin about "every second frame is getting faster rendered" that is causing a lot of tearing with my 60hz monitor atm! Be aware of this and respect this model as a good opportunity for a ryzen 2000 or 1000 pc to get a wrecking 400-500$/€ pc!
