I think what people aren't remembering here is that Nvidia has ceased to be a graphics card manufacturer. The AI game has made them one of the largest companies in the S&P 500. This is why they dont give two shits about your dollar per frame. They're manufacturing a piece of hardware that is in high demand, and they're the only company thats able to make it (for now). This piece of hardware costs $3500 to manufacture, and it runs for 50... Thousand. This is why nVidia blows now.

Edit: Subsequently Nvidia doesnt price these GPUs reasonably at all, resulting in the competition having to keep their own pricing competitive. Hopefully ARC GPUs become worth a damn soon.

I just switched from Nvidea to amd. Wanted to upgrade my RTX 3080 to an RTX 4090… but that shits $1650. went with the TUF RX 7900 XTX OC 24GB for $830.
