The 580 2048sp used to be under $60 on ali it isnt worth close to 80. Like not at all. Only buy it if you cant buy used local or on ebay

60 fps for 60 bucks is for sure a steal!

It's because the Brazilian market. A really heavy taxation on any international purchase above 50 dollars created a need to have those ultra budget cards, most of them are former mining cards with new cooling systems, more RAM and a new BIOS.

The reason is tax politics. Here in Brasil we are buying cause sometimes this GPU is below 50 dollars in promos, so we dont need to pay the 60% value tax for importation.

You can get a Rx 580 for 50 bucks... What the actual fuck

Cause we just need a fkn basic GPU that doesn’t break our bank

People buy it probably because of it's low power requirements, and cuz it's a "new" "not used" card. I considered it to upgrade my rubbish pc but decided to save up for an am5 build. Gotta jump from that pathetic gtx 650 and athlon 740 to rx 6700xt and 7500f

Here in Brazil, we only can buy stuff under 50 dollars to avoid taxes, because otherwise we must pay a 92% import tax for anything above 50 dollars, so we usually wait till this kind of GPU gets into a promo, so we can buy it without being robbed by the goverment.
By the way, im not a big fan of the goverment.

well, here in brazil whenever something goes over 50 dolars it dobles its importation price on taxes, going from 44% to 92% (its over for us dog), so if possible, people will try to get anything that is under, so maybe they waited for a discount and used some cupons.

Crazy that a 68$ GPU is performing nearly as well as my 2000$ overheating thing called "gaming laptop"

Edited 3 days after I left the comment: to everyone advising replacing the thermal paste and cleaning the vents, I'm replying: I do clean the vents regularly, but don't want to risk replacing the thermal paste because I don't really enjoy playing all these heavy games, I literally play some light indie games that dont require me risking killing the whole laptop

It’s literally one of the best picks for a high end game server hosting PC

So I had some parts leftover from my old build all I had to get was another gpu I paid 15$ for an untested 750ti and it works. I have an i7 4790k w 8gb ddr3 with a gigabyte h81 chipset the lower end one. Runs b4 1600x900 low settings at constant 60fps gpu is pinned at 100% usage but doesn’t overheat cpu is about 50% it’s honestly impressive

Tech power up says that graphics card is 49% as good as my current card The R9 390. That is assuming he means RX 560 and not the RX 5600 XT because that thinf is 171% better than my card.

I couldn't find the 4X 560 XT (with only one 0) when looking at the R9 390 and using the relative performance list.

i had rx590 for 4 years it's still a beast. if you have a half decent cou you can play almost anything with 60+fps

It’s legit the perfect second monitor gpu

Why? Because not everyone can spend +1000 dollars for a PC, it's not that hard to look outside your bubble, there's plenty of people in the world who can't afford even "budget" graphics card
