Ive lost nearly 20lb in just under 4 weeks with IF, never thought I would be able to do it, but found it very easy to stick to. These videos along with others on here have really helped me. Thank you.

Fasting is a great thing for assisting in deficits but I hope people out there know that if that’s your lifestyle - don’t stress.

You can pick it back up; just don’t be overwhelmed and beat yourself too much!

Focusing on the food and nutrition is key! 🔑
I can flex my eating window without snacking no problem but if I start introducing sweets all bets are off...
Thanks Autumn!! ⚘ Cheers!! 🕊

When you stop fasting body will store Glycogen at an increased rate. 1 Molecule of Glycogen binds 3 Molecules of Water. So you actually could get a lot of weight right after you stopped fasting, but its not fat, just water and glycogen.

Great job! Short and sweet and quickly through the points!

I think the emotional side of things is probably the most important part of this. Even if stopping fasting for a bit is bad, if you're going to do it, don't feel guilty or shameful. Cause that'll make things worse.

Hi Amber, I just searched and was happy to have found this video. I am going on a vacation which includes meals provided at specific times only so won't be able to stay on my normal intermittent fasting schedule. I have been worried about it. Sounds like the best option is to skip snacking and try to ensure 3-4 hours between meals. Thank you. Your content has been so helpful to me.

After succeeding with IF, moving from 16/8 to alt. day, I had dropped 100 lbs. I had also been walking quite a bit. But my knee soreness increased to the point I was having trouble just walking. I stopped going for 2-3 mile walks and got away from fasting (I thought I was dropping too much weight too fast). After 6 months of doing nothing AND no longer tracking my food intake, I've put 30 lbs back on (late night snacking crept back in). From my own anecdotal perspective, I must track calories and get back to alt. day fasting. One very good thing is that the foods I eat have greatly improved - no/little sugar, went back to full fat foods, etc. I'm back to 16/8 now, with intention of restarting alt. day next week. I don't think my knee will hold up to walking, so yoga and non-impact exercises will be added. Side note: I tried keto coffee. I like it, but 3 tsp. MCT oil, 1 of ghee, and 2 of sugar free creamer is almost 200 calories. That's a lot for IF, especially if I want to take in some collagen protein for skin health, too.

Hey Autumn! I hit a plateau, I've been doing 18/6 IF for a year now, any tips/advice/tricks to help? I'd love to see a video specifically on breaking a plateau, especially since you are well educated and have the credentials to speak on this. Thank you and much love from the East Coast!

I think the coolest thing about getting into IF is the healing benefits. Seems everyone would benefit from a healthy diet without snacking and not eating late in the evening. It's not too much more complicated than that.

I stop IF because I was getting hangry, couldn't sleep, and got anxiety during thr night. So I decided to eat healthily at 3times a day every 5 hours and walked the good old 10.000 steps.
I felt so much better for it and did lose weight.
I do love Autumn but dont feel that IF is the 'Be and end all' Check out Amelia Freer if you want to stop IF gently and nutritionally or just stick with Autumn as I do find her to give sound advice. But at the tender age of 60 I have to let the IF go

Once I hit my goal weight, do I still do intermittent fasting? I don’t want to lose more weight, just maintain my weight.

I’ve been doing IF but now I’m so iffy because lots of videos say IF makes it harder to reach your daily protein goals, especially since I’m weightlifting. Apparently the body can only process so much protein at one time? Help 🥺
