Alcohol addiction actually destroyed my life. I could remember several years ago after divorce with my wife which brought me into my disastrous journey with Alcohol. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got diagnosed with cptsd. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.

It's been a month and I never thought I could do it. I'm going to pray for strength to continue on with this new journey. We can do it! God bless all

I quit drinking right before my birthday yesterday. I've been praying for guidance and alcohol is one thing the Holy Spirit put on my heart to get rid of. I bought a jug of Pomegranate juice and there's no turning back.

I'm on day 13 of no alcohol after going through half a gallon of whiskey a week. Never thought I'd be able to get out of that funk. Feel much better. Things are looking better

I started to chase the sober train 2 years ago. But I keep falling off of that sober train. At best I have gotten 3 months without drink. Once in a while for 2-3 days, I go wild and regret immediately. But I'm still trying to sober up. It is lot better than it was back in college when I used to heavy drink 2-3 times a week and I blacked out at least once a week, for three years.
If any of you strangers are reading this wish me luck. I wish you good luck on your pursuit of keeping that bottle as far away as possible from your hand. Thank You.

I quit drinking on December 29, 2019. 8 days after I turned 29. Was planning to do 30 days and it turned into a year a half now. Now it’s like my “thing”, not drinking. I don’t think I will ever have one again.

I'm in rehab right now for my drinking. 7 years of heavy drinking and wrecking everything great I built for myself finally got old. 30 days sober today. I'm only 25 years old, I turned 25 on the 4th of Feburary and checked myself into rehab the 3rd of February. This is significant because feburary 4th, 2021 I was in the hospital and had all ten of my toes amputated. I had ran ran out of money and was going through withdrawls and had a seizure out in the snow giving me frostbite in all 10 toes. All glory to the Lord.

5 months next week. 55 years old, been drinking since I was 12. Started heavy drinking in high school and never stopped. When I quit in May I was drinking 20-30 drinks a day and I'm not talking beer. Total functioning alcoholic here. Morning noon and night and I quit cold turkey. Feel great, lost 25lbs, lots of energy and I sleep like a baby. Oh, and I'm not such an asshole to people. Mostly lol.

If I can quit so can you but you have to want it.

4 months sober today . The first month is the hardest. Reality starts to set in. You feel anxious and get mood swings. Headaches and confusion. It’s just the body readjusting. It gets better eventually. This is coming from a 5 year recovering Alcoholic. I’m only 22 btw … but I’m much happier now. And never felt better in my life.
