How to Make FRIENDS in Destiny 2

One of the saddest things I see on YouTube comments and on Twitter often is “I’d do X activity.

The part that makes this sad to me is that by far the best part of playing Destiny over the past 6 years has been the friends I’ve made along the way. Many of them I’ll probably be good friends with for many years or even decades to come.

In this video I share my story about making friends in Destiny and share some resources and tips that might help you find more people to play games with.

I cannot count the amount of times I’ve complimented someone on steam for their skillset even after they bagged me, for them to come back and apologize about it. Some of them I still play with today and they no longer bag others after hearing other perspectives too.

pretty much sums me up, I have been a solo player, did belong to a few clans but they only wanted a body count for quicker rewards. Have not done any raids at all but I am still here, playing doing my thing.

Never really cared about playing trials anyway. Sometimes I feel sad about missing out on raids but the game is fun enough by itself that I just I'm happy to play it.

The best gaming friends I found were when I solo cued into their 5 stack in iron banner, they sent a party chat invite usually I ignore those type of things but said what the heck that night and bam 3 years later we have a clan with 20 or so active members that play every night.

Something I'd also recommend is helping newer players. I was just patrolling the Tangled Shore and I made a friend out of a new player who asked for help with some lost sectors.

Had a good group of friends, consisting of both irl and online friends on console, but I recently moved to pc and unfortunately my friends chose not to. Its kinda frustrating starting from square one especially knowing that I could just go back to console but I've met some interesting and fun people along the way. Just wanna say it can be frustrating but once you actually find that group that you can effectively play with, and more importantly have fun with, you won't regret it. Way too many people need to see this video. Good stuff patty.
