there’s a reason why everyone says, “oh don’t worry, everyone is going to be looking for friends, you’ll definitely find people!” like it’s a very very true statement. i don’t drink so i didn’t really attend a lot of the freshers parties but there’s so many people who are just like that too. university is such a massive place, as long as you keep yourself open to making friends and doing new things you will 100% find people that you click with.

Joining a club is one of the easiest way to make friends. Sign up to any of the clubs that interest you and show up to the first meeting to see if you like it or not. If you’re living in dorms making friends is super easy because everybody is new and is trying to hang out and meet new people.

Two ways.

1. Go to parties, drink!, You will automatically be making friends and your social anxiety if you have it will be gone.
2. Do it casually, borrow a pen from somebody, after you use it, thank them and ask them for their name, ask them if they wanna study together or eat at a place, do it to someone who looks lonely, they will appreciate it.
