I've been running it on the Insider Program on an Asus Vivobook with 8th gen i7. I just do productivity tasks, web browsing, and watch You Tube with it. Battery and performance feel the same to me. I'm a Linux user and the WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) has really improved and now runs graphical Linux apps and even puts them in your start menu. For me W11 has been stable. If I ran a business from my PC I'd wait, but for home use and just geek out give it a try.

I am using AMD Ryzen on my HP laptop but I dunno...maybe I'll wait for a year before I update to W11. I'm just really anxious that bugs and incompatibiliy might slow my laptop (this is the only laptop I use for school shts and I don't wanna take the risk just yet). Anw nice video!

I have w11 for 3 days and it's fckn awesome, way better that 10, it's true that it has some weird features or just missing ones, but it's actually beautiful and some new implementations really make sense

For me, UEFI was pretty hard to get, but i somehow properly used the mbr2gpt tool convert it.
I'll upgrade on sunday.

I received windows 11 update for my device. I clicked stay on windows 10 for now. Now I am not getting windows 11 update banner to update.
I tried installing windows using windows 11 update assistant but lots of things were not working like notification center, snipping tool. I think that was not made for my specific device.

Any ideas on how to get that banner once again in windows update????

There is a big draw back to this post. Windows 11 works on pc's and laptops that can upgrade when buying a PC. Not many upgradable PC on market so it is a gamble if your PC can already upgrade if it does not meet the TPM minimal requirements. If there is a PC with 11 than getting it is worth the upgrade. There are backdoors to upgrade making a bootable USB with an international win 11 disabling tpm check but it is a hassle on some PC models.

I have hp laptop with i5 11gen. I recently upgraded to windows 11. There was some lag in my 1 month old laptop. But in new update there is no lag. I was very tensed with lag of a new machine but it works very well now. So you can upgrade if you have a compatible machine.

Hey thank you so much for making this video, I was a bit confused if I should downgrade or not... I have ryzen 4600h + 512gb SSD + 8gb ram and my laptop fan has been turning on pretty frequently (which indicates that it's heating up) ever since I upgraded the os, in win 10 the fan would hardly turn on.. apart from this everything else works fine, what do you recommend? should I downgrade or is it okay to stay with this?

I currently have Windows 10 Professional I cannot find any information that tells me that my Win 10 Pro will upgrade to Win 11 Pro with the free upgrade.

What w11 attracts me is bc of the multiple window in one time.. for now it's hard for me during classes to have multiple windows like having ppt and ms team side by side. So I'm thinking to install it bc of this. But I still hv doubts bc of the bugs etc 🤔

I think windows 11 is in beta phase lowkey. Im holding for now to 10 and maybe upgrade in 6 months to one year when they will have resolve the issues. No real reason to upgrade since i haven't seen a blue screen in windows 10 in over 2 years! Rig is running smooth! Love your content btw!
