Windows 11 follows this quote in the best way ever : "Don't remove or replace features if it isn't broken and add those whom are not wanted"

Windows 11 has one big problem that makes it worse than windows 10, which made windows 10 sorta good. The legacy of Windows 7. A lot of the features we had in windows 10 were based on or were created of things we had back in windows 7. Microsoft is doing the most they can though to make sure windows 7's influence is as long gone as possible, as we have lost a lot of features XP/7/10/(8 maybe) had. It is a new era, and not the greatest one at that.

Just tried to "upgrade" to windows 11 today and loved how I could easily revert to windows 10. I have an MSI GS66 stealth and the upgrade overwhelmed my CPU, maxed out fan speed, and was just quite unnecessary with the oversimplicity on offer. The two most useful features of Windows 10 to me are taskbar customization and the integrated calendar and the two of them are just gone for no apparent reason. Will not be using Windows 11 any time soon.

For me the only problem is the removed features and also how it would affect battery life .

IMO Windows 11 is an attempt to reinvent the wheel that basically surrounds the idea of planned obsolescence and integrating the web design/features into a daily-driving OS (Although we've 8 before, but its not as through like now).

I guess Windows 11 is like a modern, less buggy version of Windows Vista

The removal of the taskbar labels (never combine) is what made me rollback to Windows 10 in the same day I upgraded to 11

Worst thing about windows 11 for me is that they removed the taskbar buttons settings so now they combine every window of the same program into one little box. Its really difficult for me to work with that

Ay, Good video! The taskbar customization is the one biggest thing that keeps me away from Windows 11 as well as the System Requirements (although I've tried it bypassed with no problems), soooo yeah i'm definitely not upgrading my systems anytime soon

You forgot to mention the task bar bugs and others...
my other laptop got a white and pink screen from windows 11

I remember trying out windows 11 and aside from everything featured in the video, I just couldn't find myself wanting to use it because the layout was much different than what I've always been used to since windows 7. I also just found it a bit too confusing to navigate.
This is all probably just me being really picky but aside from making it easy to change back to windows 10, there wasn't really anything I liked about it.

I love it. This video, that is. Straight to the point, none of this 10 minute filler-filled video stuff, entertaining and informative. Very good list.

Thanks, very helpful! I appreciate that you didn't squeeze 15 minutes out of this and just gave it to us concise.
It feels like Windows 11 is still in beta and Microsoft wants to have the public "test" it for them for 4 years so that they can make it better than Windows 10. I will stick with Windows 10 until this is actually a better operating system, but I think it will be eventually

A month ago, my friend installed windows 11 on his computer and his computer blue screened 36 times in 1 week. After using it for a week it went back to windows 10.

Good video with pretty solid points.

I am curious about the 2nd point tho:
Did they add in the option to revert back to Windows 10's live-tile start menu after this review? because it's there now.

I have been using my Microsoft Surface Go 2 LTE (Windows 10) and after updating this week to Windows 11 the LTE Internet Signal went very low . Does anyone know if the windows 11 team reduced the Signal to save battery? Normally they balance the reception/ transmission signal trying to increase battery endurance. Any idea ?

Windows 11 is visually great but the simplification of stuff we don't want and complicating what we need is annoying ngl
For example the simplified context menu and not being able to change your default browser in one click.

snap layouts were pretty much in Windows 1.0 (it had a tiling window system), it's a readded feature, not a new one
the only new part of it is how you can hover over the maximize button and choose a layout (which doesn't even work without explorer.exe running)

Still on 8.1 Pro myself, might upgrade to 10 when I upgrade my hardware (Q9650, gtx960, 8 gigs max) which is all on a board from a cheap 2010 PC, but I'll have to look up how W10 is doing in 2021, if there's still bloatware and telemetry and how to make it function better if there is. I'm still supported until 2023 though, might as well wait and see if 11 improves. (And yes, I do have a classical start menu in 8.1, I'm not insane)

I love Windows 11 but the removal of features and changes of certain stuffs makes it a little hard for me to navigate to the things I would like to use.
