What I Learned After 1 Year Abroad

I moved back to the U.S. after 1 year teaching abroad in Kaiserslautern, Germany with the Fulbright program. This is what I learned. If you've gone or lived abroad before, what differences did you notice? What did you learn?

Many of the things you learned sounded obvious to me - until I noticed that most of my friends did live abroad and had similar experiences.

That's what i am currently struggling with in my bachelor thesis. English words and sentences are just to vague.
