Hello Miss Malori Mayor! I'm thankful I found your channel. I will be using your videos as my guide. My family will be PCSing soon next year as well.

I am sooo glad I found your channel! We are currently in Korea with expecting PCS to Germany, either Wiesbaden or Illesheim! I am excited/nervous, as I’m sure you can imagine! Obviously the travel excites me, but having already been overseas, I worry about how housing would be with 3 kids and a dog! My husband has been as well as lived there when his dad was stationed there. Anyways, thanks for all the info! I’m looking forward to seeing more of your videos!

I think the hardest part is if you live on base to long and not live outside the base.

You will probably not have another negative "homesick" experience in your life. I think it is more the seperation of used old habits that make you homesick - not the experience of new ones. So once you are over this "seperation" phase - you will be open to new stuff for all your life.

One must learn to grow. I do wonder though if the decision to live off-base contributes to your feeling of isolation (it isn't for everyone) The first suggestion for anyone moving to a foreign country would be to take language courses. It's amazing how breaking through the language barrier makes for a more rewarding experience. Would love to see more vids of your travels as you explore Europe during you stay.

Beeing patriotic is a bad starting position for living in an foreign country. Many things which are different are not better or worse, they are just different.

So great what you say, it's all so true! You know, I'm not an military guy and just randomly discovered your channel but I was surprised when I saw all your videos, that I saw, that this experiences you make in a foreign country are the same wheather you go into the unknown country because of a military job or because of an other job. There are phases and you don't need to love the new country but can get along with it, and it's human to change views and then don't want to change the views too much etc., etc. and then you learn that all is relative and the most important thing is, to take possible chances and try to make something out of them (sometimes not easy though).

My husband and I are suppose to be moving to Germany in the Fall. I'm excited and your videos have been amazing in helping us get informed on the whole process! Thank you so much! I'm not sure if you did a video on maybe information on insurance for your vehicle over there. But would you be able to?

So, slowly you learn how it can be if you want it.
Forget the USA a little bit while you are here or anywhere outside the USA should help you much.
You have to adjust for new situations and make the best of it, it's a normal process.
