Do I need a hip replacement? There’s lots of things that can cause hip pain. One of them is arthritis which can be treated with a hip replacement, but there’s also other problems that could cause pain around the hip. There’s tearing of the labrum, bursitis, tendinitis, and there’s lumbar referred pain that can refer pain to the hips.

Sometimes we try different medication‘s or physical therapy but it’s important to know that just because your hip hurts doesn’t mean you need a hip replacement. There’s other problems that can cause hip pain and it’s important to take the time to figure out what the diagnosis really is and make sure we get that right?
