My Brother had this and it was awful. Then was diagnosed with esophugus cancer at 280kg with all that going on, the cancer was the worst. He lost weight and survived and I must say the cancer killed lymphoedema and his weight loss helped he is now 116kg after 1 year and 3 months of the battle. ❤️😊

Lymphedema is a symptom not a disease. It occurs with a variety of acute and chronic conditions. It can also be induced by medication such as cortisone.
And yes it can be cured depending on the cause.

I lost my leg last year because of lymphodema. I had stage 4 lymphodema and with the condition comes open wounds. One of my open wounds somehow became infected and it ended up being with flesh eating bacteria, not knowing I had the virus I ended up going septic and almost dying. They amputated my leg to save my life.
