My legs, more my R vs my L are utter trash thanks to genetics. I've had varicose veins since I hit puberty, was always active. Now at 52, the leg, foot and ankle are too much. I can't wear normal socks as they put my toes to sleep. Can't wear compression socks as I get bruises up and down my legs and feet, and toes go to sleep. A bandage wrap doesn't help (I tried, especially on flights and long car rides). My legs are ALWAYS elevated as literally the second they go down, the swelling occurs. I move my legs while elevated, doesn't do a thing in reducing anything. I have gone to see if I can get my veins fixed and they won't because I refuse to wear compression stockings first (which I have and they were properly fitted etc, less than 5mins on they hurt and toes 2-4 have gone to sleep). I can literally watch the swelling go down when my feet are elevated, and watch when it explodes. So annoying

Is it possible to reduce lower leg lymphedema if I've had it for 20 years, and I don't know why I got it.
