I drive a 2023 Xline X1 with 18” wheels, heated sport seats, lumbar support, adaptive cruise, premium package, heads-up display — $45K. Car is roomy, quick, nimble, comfortable. The major drawback is the lag/lurch from a stop. And the iffy AWD that just doesn’t work on curves in the snow.

I traded in my 2021 330i M Sport for this one. Because I got a new pup In January, and he is a big boy. I love it. Obviously doesn’t drive like a 3 series sporty sedan. But I am grateful, and getting used to driving a suv. It’s super cute. Got it in lagoon blue.

I don’t have to worry about staggered tires. I have a spare tire now. I have a pano which I really like. 🎉 And the inside of the X1 is larger than the x3 when you sit in it. You can even look up the inches online to compare.

There is a small error...We have the new 2024 vX 1 28i and it does have the 48 volt system for 19 additional horsepower. Our car had a sticker price of $52, 000 and that's OK. We also have a 2022 X 3 M40 with the inline 6. The X 3 accelerates a little more smoothly than the X1 but both are very, very good. We get 30 mpg in city driving on the X 1 so it's less expensive to run than the X 3. On the highway both are exceptional. Nice ride, nice handling and plenty of room, acceleration, general comfort and accessibility and usability of controls. We love them both! Oh, we got the Blue Bay Lagoon metallic paint and it attracts lots of lookers who love it! We also got the ivory color interior. Brightens up the car very nicely. Also, we had the driver and passenger windows nicely tinted and we added a deeper tint to the sunroof and also a band across the top of the windshield. All that makes the car more comfortable in summer. We did that to both. We love our BMWs. Thank you! Jay

Before you buy this vehicle, let me point out the error BMW made in its design. On the front grill area where the radiator is located and slightly visible. Designers should have considered to put a mesh grill cover. Just recently purchased the M35i version, in less than 3 weeks of driving on the freeway to go to work. A rock punctured the radiator, took it to BMW for service and unfortunately it is not covered on their warranty. Hefty service price to pay 😏

The automatic gearbox is the same you get at the BMW 1-, 2-, X1-, X2 Series. The ZF gearbox was never meant to be for those series. You will leave some people here with a bad feelings when you say something that is just not true.

The X1 is sick.but after you add the options it over 48k. However, I don't think anything matches it in its class. We're looking at the idrive with sport trim and sport suspension. Plus the technology package. And add the h/k sound your sitting at 50k but hey she is beautiful and powerful

You really put out some strange arguments. Its not a MINI Chassis, the MINI is a BMW CHASSIS and its like this since 2nd Countryman Gen.

New cars starting 2024 are having some cost cutting mesures plus the new Idrive 9 that is very bad (very buggy, responds with delay, voice control not working). I regret buying the care because of it.

Q3 and GLB are not even completion- drove both several times. And glb AMG is $8k more than the m35. And Q3 is a tiny slug

X1 is meant to promote Mini owners to the BMW lineup. Mini botched the new generation, so this is refuge for any mini owner within the countryman or clubman.
