Hell, I even used to say this, but it’s simply not true… you can prove a negative, and you can prove that god doesn’t exist (depending on the definition of god)... I see a lot of christians who are confused about how omniscience makes free will a non-existent thing.
Let's put it in a simplistic sense:

Free will:
- You have choice A or choice B
- You can choose which one you want (key aspect of free will)

Now let's put omniscience in the mix:

- I know absolutely everything
- I know you will pick B
Therefore
- You cannot pick A, otherwise my knowledge isn't absolute
Therefore
- You don't have a choice. You WILL pick B.
