Actually for me, this fasting thing is the first thing I started when I read The Plant Paradox. The results were amazing. Right now, at my 50´s, I have the energy almos of a teenager. I always thanks this Doctor for his contributions, He is the best.

I have been doing 16 hour intermittent fasting and it has become very easy to do longer fasting. I am now at 42 hours and not having difficulty. I might extend it another day. I know my body can switch to burning fat easily now. In the beginning it was very bad. I was also prediabetic.

3 Worst Fasting Mistakes (from this video)
1.) 0:50 Cutting your window of eating too drastically (gradually decrease the window time in which you eat)
2.) 3:49 Prolonged water fasting is dangerous. (Take chlorella and activated charcoal to absorb toxins during water fasting if you dare). Toxins such as heavy metals and organo-pesticides are released during prolonged water fasting.

I have been fasting for a very long time now. I have learned some things the hard way, especially the re feeding stage, it can go so very wrong if you do it wrong. Take your time in all stages and work your way up like an athlete would. Start small and work up to your goal. Most importantly LISTEN to your body and do lots of research. This is not something to just jump into unless you are talking about anything under 24 hours. Prep your body 1st and you will find it so much easier.

Hey Doc, once diagnosed liver disease, I researched a lot, joined discussion groups, etc.. My grand plan, was to loose as much weight (fat) i could home gym/spin bike and 'hula chair' (it's a wild ride that shakes rattle'n rolls around, loosening internal cling-on sludge/debris, inside the body), while also eating 'bentonite clay' Once achieved, did a 35 day regimen 'organic coffee enema's. Having said, it was time to eat entirely 'organic' I've since healed the liver, with a whole lot of health awareness, backing it up. Thank you.

I'm confused. Eat fruit, don't. Eat, don't, take this, don't.
Going back to standard eating in moderation, removing sugar, removing all grains and seed oils and Throw in the odd 24hr fast and eat in a 6 hr window and I maintain you'll do as good if not better than messing about with stuff I know nothing about.

At the end where Dr talks about fruit fasting reminded me of the juice fasts I've been on but with mainly vegetables and herbs with only a little fruit to take the bitterness down so it's palatable. There is an Australian Dr Sandra Cabot who has written books on liver cleansing along with juices for many other health issues. I highly recommend trying her juice procedures which are for healing the organs of the body to create a healthy state so then the body can lose weight naturally.

I have been doing intermittent fasting for over a year now usually with an eating window of 3 to 4 hours a day…. not good I’m 78 and would like to increase my weight, however I struggle to open the window for 6 hours. I relish my vegetarian keto and have been told my food prep is amazing… I delight in the variety of food prep and have made it a wonderful hobby. According to medical specialists my blood cancer will not go away without further treatment but I have elected to have quality of life not quantity…. that been said I acknowledge there is a little anxiety about my apparent inability to increase body mass. It’s somewhat annoying to see people go on about weight loss especially for the excited few who are in the process of metabolic flexibility, and who have yet to settle in to a long term regime necessary for their respective health concerns.

My latest strategy is (always))to break the fast with sauerkraut, then prepare and eat a smaller meal so I am more inclined to eat a delicious nutritious ‘sweet’ after about 5 hours…. I complete at about 5pm but at this stage it is somewhat difficult to sleep at night, however I will persevere

I eat one or two high nutrition meals a day in a 3 or 4 hour eating window first meal 11 to 12 noon last meal before 3pm. Works great and am not hungry between meals.

I also find it easier to be in full ketosis from eating keto or carnivore for 1-2 weeks before fasting and reducing my calorie intake for a few days before fasting. This makes entering and maintaining a longer fast much easier.

Which book of yours gives more details about this issue sir? I need clearly mentioned diet model in relation to informations given. Such as time table about what to eat, how much, at what time, for man and woman and teen agers and elderly. Thanks for all your videos I love them all.

So if I'm going to the bathroom regularly, don't feel like crap, lost 2.5 inches off my waist and didn't struggle fasting because I didn't even plan to do it just didn't care to eat much, was tired, didn't feel like being organised and work/ strict diet was a hurdle with me eating out/ don't use microwaves lol... Does this mean I'm metabolically flexible?
I don't feel what I did was necessary good long term nor was it strategic, but i got my steak, eggs, minerals in the morning, maybe a couple dates and a bit of fruit during the day and then would get home and fall asleep without dinner. Or some days I just had raw milk, cacao, water and minerals and nothing else. Either way, I lost weight rapidly. And this was after living in a water damaged property and having mold toxicity, gut health destroyed and not being able to lose weight. it's definately fat not muscle I lost. It's left me extremely curious about fasting. I always felt like I was insulin resistant or diabetic too, but I can not eat for hours very easily?? I always thought that meant I have a slow metabolism. I have been eating a strict diet since 19 and basically follow your diet except I eat red meat every day. I feel like I detox fairly easily or maybe my body just responds better. even my first colonic I had good results, I sweat a lot in saunas etc. I think it's cause my diet and lifestyle is already so clean for a long period of time and don't have alcohol or coffee either.

Oh also I cook with a shit load of wild organic coconut oil which is over 60% MCTs and I do 3 sessions of Redlight therapy a week and wake up at 5am.

I have never seen such quick results over inconsistent and unintentional fasting, basically just doing what I felt. Literally 2.5 inches in not much time at all. I dont know if it was the imperfection that worked so well.

Sometimes too I would eat at 6 and eat hours later but nothing in-between. my eating patterns were like a yoyo with fasting lol.

No idea what happened but feel better and don't think I retoxed

Does the selenium in Brazil nuts bind to heavy metals in the digestive track and help them be excreted and not re-absorbed ?
