I had a feeling he’d say it’s fine but thank god he did because oats are an absolute staple for me

I don't cook my oatmeal. I pour boiling water on and let it soak in. Then I put on cinnemon, chopped dates, chopped walnuts and blueberries if I have them. Then Maple syrup and some almond milk to wet. Yummy washed down with a mug of coffee. Greetings from Ireland

Hi Doc, from South Africa. Am 55 and started the big change with fasting and eating like you this type of diet is new here and much needed, also misunderstood. My wife and I is struggling with recipes and finding the right balance, but we are making progress. Thanks for being who you are. Keep doing it....

I have never, cooked my oatmeal: I love it with oatmilk or soya milk; not every day, though.
It is very yummy 😋
Thank you Dr. Klaper🎉

I make my oats in a thermos flask each night before bedtime and let it cook overnight. I add chia, hemp, flaxseed, goji berries and some date paste for sweetening . So easy and delicious .

For a different method, I cook my oats with a vegan “chicken” broth and hot sauce. Most people sweeten theirs with various fruits, this is a savory version. I learned this Recipe from Anne Esselstyn and it’s by far my favorite. I add a handful a kale also. Try it!

I hope so. I eat it twice/day every single day. I have IBS and this is one of the few things that keeps my GI happy.

A mix of teff, buckwheat, rye, spelt, emmer, wheat and oats (all types rolled), served and eaten like cereals with cold plantmilk, flax, chia, hempseeds, almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, a cup of fruit 🍇 (berries and/or other fruits) plus a dollop of soy yogurt and you are loaded with nutrition & fibre for the day. Not a low-calorie meal but a bomb of nutrients for the calories it provides. Has been my breakfast for decades because it is hard to beat!
