I just got mine out 3 weeks ago. My main tip is water water water! Keeping the scabs moist and not dry is so important to relieve pain as well as keep your risk of bleeding lower!! Stay hydrated. As I said I’m 3 weeks post op and I’m still in some pain but a lot better!! Good luck with your surgery!

Got mine out a week ago I was in pain. I felt like I couldn’t move and I had my mom to be right next to me almost the whole day. It’s terrible. I hope you feel better.

Tip 1: stop scaring people. My doctor had said I am cleared to work in 7-10 days. I think it’s going to be longer tbh. They gave me a note to give to work but I won’t be returning in 7-10 I know I’m not going to feel good and won’t be able to talk well enough

I get my tonsils taken out Monday march 25th 2024. I got my wisdom teeth taken out and that was living hell for the first 2 days, but I need this done I can’t enjoy food at all anymore without my tonsils getting irritated or I’m always getting sick. So March 25th here we go! 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Hi I’m getting my tonsils out soon but I will be left alone around day 5/6 and will be alone for over a week as my parents are out of town, I have no family or friends who live near by to stay with my after they leave and I’m concerned I won’t be safe by myself, and I’m thinking of rearranging my

Seriously guys stop complaining i am 13 and just had my surgery 5 days ago almost no pain i can drink alot of liquids but can only talk a little i am slowly eating small chunks of solid my tip is drink your medicine trust me it works slowly but surely it works

Its my 7th day post op and regardless of the fact that my throat doesnt bleed, my ears hurt and I feel so hungry yet am unable to swallow even the liquids. My taste is no longer present.
