This anxiety test will help you understand yourself better. When it comes to emotions, it can be often hard to recognize or admit that we're not feeling 100% and the sigma around mental health might make you hesitant to reach out for help. An anxiety test like this one can be a first step to recognizing that something is going on that should be taken seriously by yourself and others. It can also guide you in your decision to get professional help.
The comments below are representative of the most common comments/questions that come up after an anxiety test like this one. I sat down together with a psychologist, and together we formulated these three videos for you. These are private videos only accessible to those who have seen the original anxiety test video.

"I feel like I have anxiety, but I don't want to self-diagnose."

"Sometimes I don't trust myself with questions like these because I feel like I'm lying to myself"

"I can't even talk about my feelings to anyone without crying."

🙋🏼‍♂️ My name is Arije, and I am a dyslexic with an MA in Education Studies. I aim to share all my tips for learning, coping, teaching, and more on my channel. My aim is to help you understand what dyslexia is and how to work with those that have it. Because I believe that, as the most common hidden learning disability, dyslexia needs to be seen to be understood.

COACHING & CONSULTATION

Here's some of the literature I consulted to create this video:

Oh this test is like my biggest fear. I can't remember how I've felt the past 2 weeks and if I went to the doctor and they told me nothing is wrong and I don't get a diagnosis I think my world would flip. If this is normal how am I supposed to live?

I love the simplicity and straightforwardness of your videos. They're devoid of fluff or filler. I appreciate that.

I always knew I had anxiety ever since I was like 9 but honestly I didn’t think it was that bad....

I have learned ways to calm myself down but some days are just harder then others, one day I will get a real diagnosis

I was always a person who was always nervous and stressed but I never thought it could be anxiety, I just took this test and got 17, which means I have severe anxiety, but I never knew it was that bad.

I have very bad anxiety where I’m at 21, the max points, severe anxiety. It’s affects every day of my life and it’s so bad that I just don’t know how to walk up and talk to someone at all.

Thank you so much for making this video, it’s helped show me how much progress I’ve made after years of dealing with severe anxiety often caused by my ASD. I just got 9 which is incredible for me, because even though the anxiety is still there I’ve improved massively from where I was before.

I know I already have anxiety as I am diagnosed, and have done this test several times before, but I loved that you included the severity bit. It helped me to realize that my anxiety is as severe as it feels, and that's an oddly comforting feeling.

My parents knew I had anxiety ever since I was 4 and they were almost certain Bec my dad has it. And every test I do for fun I get one of the possible highest results which is most the time, severe anxiety. I really wanna get diagnosed so I’m 100% sure that I actually have it tho.

Moderate. And indeed, I was diagnosed with Anxiety and depression. Pills are helping me with the anxiety, with depression I am still struggling at times

As someone who has had anxiety since I was 2 and professionally diagnosed, I can agree with this that I got a 18, and that is severe, and I was diagnosed with something similar to this so yes I would say if anybody is on edge with this test, I would say is pretty accurate for a YouTube test.

The covid-19 tall people learn how to be by yourself I've been through that when I was a kid I didn't know I had dyslexia kids used to laugh at me in school like he can't read but I was smart and it took me time to figure out what my smartness is

I've got 19 on this test, 12/12 on the dyscalculia and 5/9 on the dyslexia test. My anxiety is not as bad as it used to be, but it was really bad when I still lived with my parents. I also think I have ADHD and lately I've been wondering if it is all connected. I think I developed anxiety because of undiagnosed ADHD and severe diagnosed dyscalculia. When I was a kid I had a lot of panic attacks and began to develop social anxiety. And I think I have developed GAD as a teenager. I finally got the right help now at age 28 and I'm hopefull for a future in where I can finish an education and have a job and have a normal life.

I’ve been living with severe anxiety for more than 10 years. It is like a living hell, being constantly on the edge. These days I can’t even remember what happened in last few days due to mind fogging.

I got a 21/21. But the reason for this is because I am living with abusive parents, so it's no surprise. Before you think there is a problem with you, look at your environment and ask if this is a normal reaction to a hostile environment.

I always assumed I had anxiety, but I don’t think my parents know that I go trough it. I’m between moderate and severe anxiety
