I own a 2002 X595 diesel.... Not much has changed in 20 years. I absolutely love my tractor, it a beast. Mine has 1900 hours....

What a beauty! Dealerships always perplexed me. A dealer's whole existence relies on repeat and new customers. When I was looking to buy my truck I didn't look for price I looked for the best rated service dealership and travelled 1 hour away to buy it. Best decision ever. I'm at the age now where if you wrong me once you will never see me again. =D Good decision finding a better dealer!

Congratulations! I just noticed you got the new machine. I still have my X738 and love it. Might consider deisel next time, but my gasser does everything I need it to do. Look forward to more videos!

Nice Machine, CONGRATS!! I have the previous series X7, 2WD, gas. What you call a "proportioning valve" behind where your hydraulic hoses connect is actually a lockout valve. You crank it all the way in for snow duties, and it locks out fluid from going to your deck lift hydraulic cylinder. That way your blower chute and angle cylinder (depending on if you are using a blower or a blade) operate faster. I'd love a Diesel and 4WD, but it's just a want and not a need.

Could you put the Michelin x tweel tires on the back? I would like to know if it would be possible?

In Northern WI myself and I’m interested in going to a family dealership rather than the competitor that dominates the state. Let me know how your experience is with them down the road. It’s about an hour drive for me, too… and I’d be glad to make it!

I have a 2021 X738 with the 60HC deck. I respectfully disagree with the removal of the plastic coverers from the drive over ramps. I find there is no need. Those drive over ramps pop off with just a tug (totally tool less) and the covers come with them. One of my favorite features of the new HC decks.

My sister has some property out in Minnesota, they have a older 455. Man i love that thing, but anyways. The rpm on yours sounds pretty similar to what that machine runs. Whenever our family goes out to visit sometimes ill get lucky and the grass will be long, let me tell you what, 4 hours of bliss.

I don't know what you paid for the 738 but $7500 for a machine with 500 hours is pretty fair. It must have been in great shape. I'm surprised the dealership offered you that without seeing the machine in person and checking compressions, etc. I think you did well on the deal. I'd like t trade my 590 for one some day.

I have one I just bought
Your right there’s a lot of rpm on that motor and deck
Make sure to keep it greased, all the zirks and deck to
Will last a long time
Keep it clean to

can you please ship that to my house? I will name it Fred and treat it like family

How does this thing handle on hills? Like going sideways on 10-15 degree slopes? My x590 can handle them fine I’m wondering if this would actually be an improvement for mowing slopes sideways since it’s a bit heavier and wider stance? Thoughts?

You must live in Pennsylvania, because my dealership treats people poorly at best.
But you now have a nice machine. Good luck with it. Band of Brothers and Sisters. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

So far, how is it compared to the X738? My Grandpa just bought a X738 in May that now has 25 hours. I'm thinking he should've got the diesel (he paid 17, 000$ total for his 738, 54in deck, and 47in blower). But all he does is mow about 0.90 acres and snow blows 4 roughly 60ft x 25ft foot driveways in the winter.

Also to yiu should not start pto at full throttle or shut pto of at full throttle
I was told from dealer to engage and disengage at about half or less

I have a 455 and want one of these for the 4wd and to get rid of my AWS but can't justify it.

I'm considering a 758 or 739. On another forum, X758 owners (4 of them) all complained that a carriage bolt on the auto connect lift mechanism rubs on the right side of the frame causing a vibration when mowing. Has that been an issue with your's? Also, do you find your 758 better at blowing snow than your 738 or about the same? Thx.
