💬Before the comment warriors come here and give their opinion without watching the video and skipping until the end:

The 7800x3D and 7000 series are down there because the 9000 series are about the same price at the moment (I explain it during the video)

If you don't find some CPUs like the Ryzen 9 5900x or Ryzen 5 3600 it's because I would not recommend buying them brand new, this list is based on recommendations to buy for new/old systems


CPUs like the 5600 or 7600 are not high up just because the X versions are cheaper right now, but grab the cheapest one you find by the time or purchasing one :)

Great video! At least someone has the guts to say that 9800X3D price-performance is not good and even tells to avoid it at its current price tag. The better option obviously is the 9700X price-performance wise, differences are so minimal you will barely notice em anyways unless you are a minmaxer and want the best of the best and that 10fps matters to you while you are already gaming with +150-200fps on 1440p.

I was really torn between 9700X and 9800X3D for my new build and ended up going with the latter. No regrets so far, 9700X gets way too much hate for what it is. Truly amazing CPU with reasonable price tag. However if 9800X3D comes down 100-200$/€ in price I'll suggest buying that one instead.

I just clicked to see if you put 7500F in god tier :D BTW they released 7400F as well around $100 and said it will be available globally.
7500F was the first CPU in my entire PC building life when the chip was cheaper than the chipset (motherboard) and I have been building PC for las 2 decades.

Keep in mind you also need a new cooler for am5. If you have am4, your cpu cooler likely won’t be compatible with am5.

5700x3D at 170€ from aliexpress is the best buy for anyone that's on a b450 motherboard and some cpu like R5 3600.
To get similar performance you need to buy a 7600+b650 mobo+ ddr5 ram combo that can cost you 450€
