Built my first ever PC last month! It has a 5600G and a 550W PSU so this video was very helpful. I'll most likely be getting the 6650XT in the few months...

Started out with the integrated graphics of the mb of a Pentium dual core from 2009, then upgraded to gt710 in 2021 and now on an Rx5500m... I miss those days where I was trying to make gta 5 run on the Pentium with 1gb of ddr2

I am currently using the 5600g with a 3070. I ended up upgrading the 550 watt psu i had to 850 watt to play it safe. So far no issue with bottlenecking.

6700 non-XT 10GB is what I'd pair with that setup. It's a better fit, and draws significantly lower power than the XT variant.

Started with this during the GPU shortage. 5600G, 16Gb of RAM, 600W SFX PSU. I now have a RTX 4080, and will be switching to a 5800x3D soon. The highest (non transient) total system power draw I was able to get, was running CPU Burner simultaneously with FurMark, topping out at 450W (with the maximum OC I can sustain on the GPU). At stock settings it drops to 350W. I'll upgrade my PSU to a 750W model eventually, but these Corsair SFX units can handle a lot more than their rating, so I don't really have a practical reason to rush for a larger unit. In Cyberpunk I never reach above 260W of total system power draw.

I would recommend a 5600x and Rx 6600 for budget gaming paired with 32 gigs of ddr4 3600 is an absolute beast for 1080p all without breaking the bank🎉🎉

The higher you go with resolution and settings, the lower the bottleck, until it quite often eventually completely dissapears.

I'm using a EVGA 2070 with an ASUS B450-F Board 16GB RAM EVGA 550 Bronze as a LAN Party Rig. 27 inch 1440p Fortnite EPIC Settings. Console Killer, still with an 3 Year Upgrade Path. I really see no big difference between 1st and 2nd Rig. Plus, some of the fun is in the tweaking for better performance on an older Rig.

I can’t decide whether I should upgrade to 5700x or 5800x, I currently have a 5600g, the rest of my specs are 16 gigabytes of ram, rx 6650xt, b450, and a 650 watt psu.
