I've been using the same solder roll for about 15 years now lmao, I have no clue what kind it is anymore but rosin core is wayyyy better than anything else I've used

My dad has been using that Kester for years. Always having that 1 roll of 66 core. Even I, had an easier time learning soldering with it. When I got to University, some of my classmates poke fun of my preference/mixture like what Kester has, But they think every solder is the same. Some profs think the same too.

I even remember few years back, when my old man tried assembling an LED strip for the house(Christmas) he raged on about a solder my younger brother bought him from DIY. He kept muttering "what the hell is this? Its not like I don't know how to solder.!!" I think it was lead free and it was hard to work with.

Facts, Kester Rosin Core is where its at. Only down side is that you have to be super careful inhaling the fumes because of the 40%lead.
