Straight in is my go to. It really doesn’t matter if you hook it or go straight in. As long as the solder joint is good it’s all the same.

Hey there! Loved the p90 adjustment vid. I had previously had the bridge as high as it could go and I always thought I wanted it higher but never knew if it needed it. Once I saw the video I knew it needed to be raised more closer to the 2.4mm. I added a block to allow it to be raised to the 2.4mm and I’m digging! Thanks!

TOOK IT APART
SOMEONE HAD PUT ALL HQ PARTS EVEN ADDED A TREBLE BLEED
THE SOLDER WAS A+
I’m going to transfer over to a right hand sRtat I was blown away.
Poor person probably regrets letting it go 😢😢

The OCD in me says straight joint followed by heat shrink.

Number 2 as it is closest to IPC standard, for a better joint prepare the pin with flux and clean the joint after. To desoolder utilise solder braid, for better capillary action using the braid it may be dipped in flux.
