Never solder wires again?

I know how to solder. I just hate soldering wires together. I even used a small pcb piece with throughholes just to connect to wires since it was a lot easier and I cant stand soldering them directly

I'd suggest an improvement; pull one wire through, wrap the exposed core of that wire to the exposed end of another, adjust to center the know you made under the solder, heat em up.

If you hate soldering, get rid of the fire starter stick Home Depot sold you and pick up a Hakko soldering station. You'll hate it a lot less.

They're also good for very short connections in car electrical wiring. Just put one of these on and extend that wire.

Pffft...forget these silly things and get the military grade version with built in pyrotechnics which solders & seals the job without any heat gun.

Just used these to fix thermostat wires on outside unit my advice is get a precise heat gun don’t use a lighter

Okay, it may be a good solution if you already have this stuff. But a heatgun and these parts are acually more expensive than a soldering iron and some soldering wire!

If you don't have a heat gun you can use a lighter, just be careful not to burn it 👌
