I was taught the 3 seconds rule (depending how thick your solder is) 3 seconds heating 3 seconds pushing solder slowly and 3 seconds letting the solder flow. I don’t use it all the time but it helps

I just don't understand all these soldering videos. I taught myself to solder in about ten minutes.

Heat the joint first then flow the solder. End with drawing it up and after a few it will be perfect every time.

How many watts of soldering iron should we use when doing small circuit

Не правильно выбрано жало, флюс нужно мазать сначала, припой надо подавать на нагретую плату а не ножку.
Необходимо прогреть место пайки паяльником, а не пытаться изображать рисование кистями.

I don't know why my soldering iron tip is always not able to melt the solder whereas only the side can melt... make it very hard to solder something narrow like Sim 800l module.... now it won't even melt the solder again
