1. Antioxidant - should take from real foods
2. Don’t take after work out, Anti inflammatory supplements ( turmeric, Coq10), wait 3 hours
3. Iron supplement - try wind without copper (dangerous - speed up oxidization),
4. Glutamine

7. Caffeine

I feel damned if I do, damned if I don't. Like no matter what path I take on my health improvement journey, some part of it is wrong. Just going to keep it simple, and hope for the best.

I work at a clinic and have seen lots of people that suffer from fatigue who are iron deficient because of their diet/health problem. Taking a supplement or eating iron rich foods(spinach etc)could help quickly with your fatigue. It’s a simple blood test so just be aware that low iron could be the culprit.

Question: Tart Cherry. Does adding tart cherry as an anti-inflammatory have the same negative impact as the other anti-inflammatory supplements you listed?

Anybody else have to watch more than once (and tap back repeatedly) due to reading the comments instead of focusing on the video? Every time 🖐️ Hopefully the extra views only help!
Top notch content, as always.

I was anemic at one point and found out I was also copper deficient. Iron supplements killed my stomach unless I took other cofactors. Copper is fine. Iron needs an enzyme called ceruloplasmin that transports iron into cell. Ceruloplasmin is copper dependent. Coppper has many other roles in the body, just not heavily advertised.

I take carnitine before a workout and then creatine post workout personally.

Excellent information 👌

Were the studies based off synthetic supplements or whole food/natural based?

Many electrolyte mixes includes a small amount of calcium (75mg per serving for instance). Is that a big deal or should I try to find a different daily electrolyte mix?

It's good to know I can take berries and broccoli sprouts in my post-workout collagen shake. I stopped taking ibuprofen, etc., a long time ago. As for iron, not only don't I take it, I have to give blood to get rid of it. I had to switch multivitamins because the one I was taking had iron.

I take creatine, carnitine and taurine pre-workout, along with electrolytes. I was pretty surprised the first time I took creatine, I actually felt the difference, and the only supplement I can say had as dramatic of an effect was magnesium (which stopped my middle-of-the-night headaches.)

Can you do a video on your analysis of the top greens powders? I think it would be super helpful and do well.

I have menorraghia. I need iron. If I don''t take iron I will die. I see you mentioned anemia, but you underrated the detrimental nature of iron loss via blood.

I take glutamine to help protect my gut. I don't use it for athletic benefits. The study sited showed 40 grams a day which is way to much.

My doctor is recomending to stay away from caffeine. Is a product like Teecino which is chickory acceptable substitute? Also what about the new fat burners that use capsaison (the stuff that makes peppers hot)?

Well Thomas you're as informative and eloquent as most doctors I've seen, if not more so.
The amount of studies you reference, as well as the scientific rigor you apply to them is very impressive.
If accreditation wasn't valued so much compared to education in our society I would openly refer to you as a Doctor.
Edit: as well as Dr. Berg trusting you enough for a collaboration, I wouldn't say you're just some guy on the internet.
People like you pioneer insight into new frontiers of medicine, and if you decide to publish a book or a paper on this literature it could be the foundation on what tomorrows doctors are taught in school.
