Thanks Rob. I picked up the Tangem a few weeks back. I'm living in SEA and it shipped from Hong Kong quite quickly. I'm not using the pneumonic phrase. Love the simplicity. I just moved my last crypto off my old Ledger, which was making me nervous. I'm hoping nothing goes wrong with this because it's such a beautiful UX.

Rob, many thanks for this update, great job. RE Broken seals, a very easy solution for Tangem would be to use tamper proof envelopes (Shieldfolio / Stonebook use these for shipping) as they can't be ripped open, only cut open. Only the most nefarious customs would do that. ❤

I love the Tangem Wallet. Mine came with a cracked seal also, I think it is just a package manufacturing flaw. After listening to several reviews about how the wallet works and how common is for them to show up with the cracked box seal I wasn’t concerned. I plan to by more and move some more crypto off my Trezors spread it around. I originally bought my tangem to store Kaspa. I am now sold on it.

Ok two questions. Can you dive deeper into buying on the decentralized exchange for cheaper fees? Second, what are the tax implications of buying on an exchange and moving it to a wallet? From what I remember every movement is taxable isn’t it?

Real talk, I bought a Tangem wallet because of your high marks Rob, and once I set it up and realized that I didn’t have access to my seed phrase, it went in the drawer, unused. Been burned enough times by the feeling of self custody that I couldn’t take a chance. I’m glad they’re making this change.
