For absorption:
Spread out throught day
Decrease caffeine, sodium intake
Get enough vit d
Exercise
Symptom:
Long term muscle trapping
Hypothyroidism

Increased risk of clotting

Also super important- iron decreases calcium absorption so try not to eat iron rich foods with calcium rich foods :)

Which fortified plant milk do you use? It’s not easy to find one that does not contain other fillers and sugar. The best I’ve found is edenfoods soymilk organic.

New subscriber! Just found your channel and I'm obsessed. I'm also a NP student and working towards a plant based diet so your videos have been AMAZING. how long have you been eating a plant based diet? I'm finding I feel hungry SO quickly when we eat plant based meals. Probably just need more research on what I'm eating? Or did you find it took some adjusting for your body. what not to eat in order to avoid calcium ? my body have to much calcium i had to reduce it as soon as possible please let me know appreciate ….

I’m really frustrated with my intake atm, when i put in that i had 2 servings of tofu it doesn’t say i got 464 mg it says 180 mg so I’m confused. And the frozen pineapple i have says it’s got 0 mg of calcium so why am i not getting the normal stuff??? I also don’t eat tofu every single day so what do you recommend to have instead of that? Like maybe a fortified plant milk and cereal? I notice i get a lot more when i have that. And the stuff i buy is healthy but i don’t want to be stuck eating fricking corn flakes everyday lol 😂 i also est tahini almost everyday and even that says I’m not getting enough!!! What’s happening?!?!?
