This is too frequent a problem with my wifi connection to my Brothers mfc9330 cdw printer.
Frequently, the solution is simply unplugging the printer to reset the connection addresses.
As the printer is rather distant, I am thinking of getting a wifi controlled plug to reset the printer remotely. Seems like a suboptimal solution.

Unplug modem and router for 1 minute to refresh system, then plug back in, wait a bit then try again
