I’m disabled and have Medicare part A. My husband is still employed and I’m able to stay on his group health insurance until he retires or departs the company. So far it’s less expensive than Medicare part B. And the company has their own medical clinic, pharmacy, and vision center. Medical clinic visits are 0 copay. Glasses and pharmaceuticals have a low mark up. Definitely going to miss all of that when he retires!

I am disabled and my husband and I are still getting employee coverage (more than 20 employees) on my long term disability. My husband was law enforcement and got special retirement at age 54. He still gets the same coverage from his former employer for both of us. I declined Medicare since I have dual coverage. Will I have to take Medicare when he signs up for it at age 65? Will there be a penalty?

OK, I want to get this right. I am the owner of a company and also an employee of the company. The company presently has 10 full-time employees. And four part-time employees. So as I understand it, when I turn 65 and I plan to stay on my employer health policy, I have to sign up for Medicare part A B & D to avoid a penalty?

I did sign up for part B and was on it for awhile before realizing I could drop it and just use my work insurance since it was more than 20 people. So I wasted my money. I s it true that I will have to go through underwriting to get on a supplement plan when I do retire because I was previously on Medicare? Thanks

I'm retiring out of the country at full retirement age. I plan on getting overseas insurance spolacy. I'm worried about social security all of a sudden. Tapping my check for medicare when I'm relaxed over there. After 3 or 4 years what do I do to keep social security from starting? My medicare when it feels like it.

Clear as mud, lol😅. My husband is on BCBS and is retired. I am on his policy. I am on Medicare (which I don't think I need), we will be on Tricare when he turns 60. Can I opt out of Medicare now?

Why does the number of employees have anything to do with anything. Health insurance with 15 employees vs health insurance with 21 employees there’s no difference.

Hello. I am retired from the California Department of Corrections and am receiving medical, vision, and dental benefits. All three cost me about $260 per month. I also work part time for Home Depot. If I sign up for Medicare at age 65--I'm 62 now--will I, more than likely, have to continue paying the $260 each month and also a portion for insurance for Medical Part B? Thank you so much.

When you buy medical insurance, you’re telling yourself that you’re going to get sick and that you will need medical services
