Don't forget to download my free Medicare book !
It would be VERY helpful to me if you could leave a 5 star Google review here:

Thank you so much for this video. I turned 65 but am nowhere near ready to retire, work for a larger than 20 employee company, but had heard from others that I "had" to sign up for Medicare. I prefer not to, so this was good news for me!

Great information.
I have part A, only. I stayed on my employer group plan. I am 67, still no plans to retire.

Keith, thank you for the great video. It was the clearest video on working past 65.

I have Humana Medicare dental. I live in Atlanta and cannot find a dentist that accepts this insurance unless it's a PPO.

I have been watching all of Keith Armbrecht's videos and they are very informative. All of the information out there about Medicare can be rather overwhelming and I appreciate all of this easy to understand information and valuable information presented by Mr. Armbrecht. I will be utilizing his knowledge when I do retire and am applying for Medicare

i am a Travel Nurse and I do not have coverage unless under contract. For example, My current contract ends Sept 12. Sept 13 I do not have coverage unless I resign and elect health care coverage Employer size is greater than 20 . if I want to continue to work can I sign up for Part A and B and just not sign for employer coverage for the next contract. BTW, each contract is only 13 weeks.

Very clear. Thank you. Will contact you before I stop working. I am turning 66 and am using my employer's plan but eventually will work as a 1099 contractor.

4:40 - "your Medicare part A is going to start at 65 no matter what... ...it's kind of automatic. "
This statement is contrary to everything that I have learned from many sources over many (100+) hours of study. Please explain or clarify. (for those not collecting SS already)

Thank you so much for your videos and resources you make available. I understand better when reading. I can re-read a section until I understand it well.

If you sign up for Medicare Part A, then you can't contribute to an HSA. Signing up for Social Security also means signing up for Medicare whether you want it not and means you can no longer contribute to an HSA. Signing up for Medicare also comes with a 6 month look back as well which also affects HSA contributions.

Thank you I work for a major insurance carrier mainly dealing with advantage plans and I have learned all there is to know about advantage plans. I am doing my research into supplements and more of a deep dive into Medicare and your videos are a huge help as they complement my studies.

My employer had less than 20 employee's so when I turned 65 I signed up for both A & B, and I stayed on the group plan, just had a Physcial and they told me at the Dr.'s office that the group plan would be primary and Medicare would be secondary, either way I wasn't billed for it. Now I'm completely off the group plan and have my secondary through Keith, wish I would have found him sooner!

Thank you. This was very helpful. My husband turned 65 a few weeks ago and he is still working and his health insurance is under his job.

I turned 65, and wanted to retire the following month. Although there is a 7 month window in your IEP, (Initial Enrollment Period), I was not able to start Part B the 2nd month. I could either start coverage the month after that, or the month after my 65th birthday. They told me the IEP takes precedence over the SEP (Special Enrollment Period). Even my Medicare broker wasn't up to speed on this. Now I have both large group coverage and one month of Part B overlap. So confusing

I have been watching Keith's videos for over three years now leading up to my turning 65 in December.  Just like this video, all of his videos have provided me with a much clearer picture of how I should manage my health care (whether it be Medicare Part A, Medicare Part B, Medicare Supplement, Medicare Part D Drug Plan or any other such as vision, hearing and dental) after turning 65 since I work with an organization with less than 20 employees.  I have found Keith and his Associates to be very helpful in guiding me to "my date" in December!
