On the evening of January 2022, John O’Keefe and his girlfriend, Karen Read, went in a blizzard to meet friends at a local bars. After leaving the bar together, Read said she dropped her boyfriend off outside the house hosting the afterparty, and then went home. As someone who actually watched the trial - your coverage was awful. So many key points in the trial weren’t even mentioned. The dozen valid reasons why one would believe there is a conspiracy. The fact that there’s an ongoing Federal Investigation into the DA’s office and the State Troopers that were involved. The fact that a proven cover up and conspiracy, by the same players, was just unearthed last week. Look up Sandra Birchmore. Your coverage was elementary, at best. The people you chose to highlight … an ex girlfriend? Vinnie Politan? Yet you don’t interview the person who actually has unearthed evidence over and over again. Honestly, TMZ has delivered more accurate coverage of this case and you have.
