Karen Read is accused of driving drunk and hitting her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O'Keefe, before leaving him to die in January 2022. Read is now facing several charges, including second-degree murder for the death of O'Keefe. Karen Read was drunk and hit that man. I don't think she was aware that it was him she hit at first, but when she sobered up, she suspected it. I think to believe that the people in that house beat that man up is ridiculous. I hate how those nuts outside are treating this woman like some kind of hero, when the true victim in this is dead and his family is suffering.
