Hi Angie! Love this. I’m a 53 year old personal trainer and have been in this profession since my late 20’s. The absolute best thing a woman can do is lift weights, and lift heavy. Muscle mass is crucial for overall health as we age and definitely helps a lot with metabolism. It’s super rare for the average woman to get bulky from lifting heavy. I lift very heavy and I’m a very slim body type at 112 lbs and have been lifting for 30 years. I’ve never had a client get bulky and they were unhappy with their body. So to anyone reading this regardless of age…lift weights! Your future self will be so happy you did. And it’s never too late. My oldest client was 86 and independent and thriving. You’re so inspiring Angie. Thank you for all the ways you’ve changed my skin care. I’m so grateful ❤️

I never believed my body could change so much with menopause. It literally seemed to pile on overnight. I hardly recognise my own body. This video has really given me hope and so much vital information. Thank you.

YESSSS! Agree with everything she said. I am 48, post menopausal, and a cardiac nurse. Listen, our bodies can heal so many issues when we eat the right food! Stick to the perimeter of the store and include lots of color with your produce! I so wish our healthcare system would educate people about this!

Thanks for the update hon 💓 I have adopted most of these changes in the last 10 years alon with some intermittent fasting. I think of them as part of my retirement plan and at 63 I am in the best shape of my life - it is totally worth it. BTW to get bulky muscles it takes hours a day so a few sessions a week are super healthy and toning as Angie said. Women have smaller shoulders so really important to keep that strong for posture and holding us upright 🥰 muscle also burns more calories. Eventually you feel great - keep going adding things to avoid old people injuries and enjoy retirement 💓

I'm 50, post menopausal. Angie is spot on. It takes consistency and work- dedication. If you care enough, you can do it. Small, gradual changes is key. Focus on health over weight loss. You will feel so much better you will be motivated to keep going! I've been fit my whole life but had to get next level disciplined to keep my weight down. The weight crept up over a few years without me noticing until I did. Then I slowly fixed up my diet and it works. Great info, Angie, as always!!
