I had my first fight at 12 yrs. old and fought all the way till I was 25. 2 golden glove titles 2 state and 1 Australian title. I'm now 34 and long retired due to a slipped disc in my lower back and my left-hand index knuckle has completely sunk in from breaking it twice. Just writing that to say I know the sport well and I gotta say your movement is on point and everything you have said in this video is on point! All the best.

Bro the way he was jumping rope at the beginning was like he was swinging a pair of nunchucks. That was insane

As a Muay Thai practitioner, my training regiment is near identical to that of a boxer- and I truly believe that it gives me an edge. Love the content man, got yourself a new subscriber.

This is the most realistic traning/demonstration on YouTube. If you are starting and want to get serious, save this tips. Can't believe don't have a massive like and coments but it will. Thanks for the good work.

As a 200 pounder this footwork is so motivating. When I watch my peers we tend to just “survive” moving forward but man I want to be that big guy that’s moving and shaking. Confusing the shit out of my opponent. I can move but it takes so much energy after a while. And my jump rope is horrible.

Great video. I remember when i started boxin back in 93 in Chicago my trainer DIDN'T allow us to throw a punch or hit the bag for 3 months. He wanted us to learn footwork 1st & then everything fell into place. Footwork is KEY

Keep pushing this qualitity content. Straight to the point, short, well explained, it really motivates me to take that extra step.

Lost my leg, need to learn this stuff all over again. What was once natural is now one of the hardest things I can attempt. Thanks for making videos like this... The verbal coaching is what helps the most. Been boxing for nearly 30 years, and right now it's like none of that ever happened... but the verbal... Man, that helps. Keeps me motivated as fuck. THANK YOU.

I’ve boxed for many years and I still do a boxing routine for my workouts and I can’t express how important foot work really

When I first got into martial arts, I quickly learned that legends are great because they've mastered the fundamentals. Elementary principles like "footwork" are pivotal building-blocks that should never be skipped but embraced to truly achieve greatness.

What you said about jogging/running is very true. Drives me insane when people think you don’t need it. It’s extremely good for mind strengthening as you mentioned. Great videos mate.

I've been bodybuiding and lifting heavy weights for 20 years, the last two years i've completely changed my philosophy about trainimg and somewhat about life, so I decided to drop some weight and completely change my way of training ( I was about 100kg at 183cm and now I'm down to 88).I Started jumping rope (and that's probably what I'm the best at so far) because I wanted to learn how and also for the cardio but it evolved with me trying to learn boxing, I joined a boxing gym but unfortunately mostly train alone because my work schedule don't allow me to take classes.. My goal is to learn to move like you, you look like a cat when they are fighting, I like to watch and try to copy the moves but it is actually pretty hard :)

This fighter moves like Rocky Balboa and Apollo Creed.

I was reminded of their training montage in Rocky III watching this.

GREAT foot work and movement.

IF you're not a professional boxer and you want to be, go after it. You'll do very well. 🇺🇸 💪
