Its not the fasting that is making you hungry, its the food you're eating.

I’m on month 2 and I am already down 21lbs. I eat between 11am-8pm. The first week was crucial, but now it’s not bad. I struggled with diets before, but this right here, honestly works for weight loss.

Update 3/17/23: it has been 7 months now and I have lost 50lbs. I possibly could have lost more if I was consistent, but this DEFINITELY works.

I started with a 12/12 window, meaning fast 12 hours and eat whole food within 12 hours. Then increased to 14/10 and now transited easily to 16/8 without any issues. Shared this so that those who wants to start, you can always start slow like I did and don't have to jump immediately into the 16/8 window, especially if you are looking at this as a permanent lifestyle change for better health.

I'm 3rd shift so I was doing 1 meal A-day after work and 16 to 36 ounces of water throughout the day. Went from 238 to 135 in less than a year.

Nothing has pissed me off more in my life knowing that the food industry specifically makes foods that make you eat more and more and thus buy more and more. The entire food industry is a health hazard.

When I started IF, I realized that I used to eat just because everyone else was eating not because I was necessarily hungry, I was constantly hungry when I did the 16/8 so I switched to OMAD... it’s my 5th day today and I think this is the program my body is comfortable with.

I started intermittent fasting 3 years ago. I lost 50 lbs during the first year and continue this in order to manage my pre-diabetic condition. My doctor is very happy with my progress and my Hbg A1C is within normal range.

I've been intermittent fasting for about three months now. I've never thought of my self as fat but incredibly I've lost 18 pounds. My love handles are gone and I'm starting to see the lines between my abs again. The first three days were a nightmare for me, I felt almost like I had cold symptoms. But after that it's not so bad. My eating window begins at 6 at night because I don't like sleeping hungry. At this point I'm able to work 10 hour days at a physical job with zero food no problem. For me fasting isn't a diet it's a way of life for me now. And yes I eat as much as I desire at dinner time, until I'm happy one plate two plates what ever I want.

UPDATE: It's been over a year since I posted this and I still intermittent fast 7 days a week. I have kept all the weight off and am now staying roughly the same weight at this point since I've lost pretty much all of my excess fat. My stomach is completely flat at this point and I no longer have any sort of belly or love handles. I have also stuck closely with a work out routine since I started as well so I have gotten myself in shape again. I'm pleased to say I'm in the best shape since my 20s and I feel great. One huge improvement I've noticed since fasting is that I no longer get the little colds I use to get here and there! For me intermittent fasting is now a way of life. I don't think about food through the day, I don't feel hungry throughout the day, my stomach doesn't do so much a growl. I have very much so become accustomed to fasting and I will never stop, this is how I will choose to eat for the rest of my life.

I'm on week 3 and doing great! The first 3 days was rough but like many said, your body adapts! I workout in a fasted state and I adjust my eating and fasting time randomly thru the week. I love it! I don't have to stress out over what to eat/cook and save tons of money on groceries. I'm looking forward to making IT a lifestyle!!!

Thanks for the honest and upfront video. I did the intermittent fasting from 7pm until noon the next day. Like you I found coffee to be my new best friend but I also found that if I kept busy in the mornings it was not too bad. I started at 230 lbs and after only 2 weeks I lost 10 lbs. I tried to walk for about 1/2hr three times a day, 7am 11am, 2pm and that helped

Technically, you're not missing out on breakfast since, by definition, breakfast is the first meal of the day. Literally, "breaking the fast"... you're simply missing out on the recently traditional (and heavily marketed) "breakfast food"

I'm 75 years old and started low carb/high fat with intermittent fasting 10 months ago. I've gone from 190lbs to 162. I still eat mostly a low carb diet (always under 80g/day anyway) using fats for satiety. I work out at the gym 1or2 times a week (so, low on exercise really). I feel like I'm 40 again. My thyroid meds are down from 135 to 100mcg and falling, my blood pressure meds are on their way out! My relationship to food is so much easier - I still get hungry, but I understand that hunger gives the body a chance to take care of itself. Food is less important, cravings are almost non-existent, and I'm not afraid to be hungry. It has been a wonderful 10 months. I so wish I'd known about this half my life ago! (Oh, and calories in/calories out is rubbish.)

I started intermittent fasting about 6 months ago combined with avoiding processed foods as much as possible. My window is 6 hours feeding and 18 hours fasting. I've dropped from 217 to 155. Now I am trying to stabilize my weight and not lose anymore. The only time I feel hunger occasionally is in the evenings. Never feel hunger in the morning as i drink coffee with a little bit of skim.

Been doing it for 5 years now. I am 55, lift for 90 minutes "daily" and run on a 17 hour fasted state.

I started intermittent fast right after the new year it’s been almost 3 months and I went from 267lbs to 223lbs. l also exercise 5 times a week (strength and cardio) but I just started exercising the last month. All my energy levels and exercise drive and weight loss goes back to fasting. Fasting is a life changer.
