Chinups ALONE don't give you big biceps. Don't fall for the compound meme, don't neglect isolation, take it seriously, do your curls and progress on them

curls 100% work the weights just aren't high enough when u isolate them. if the weight is too low u are simply training your muscular endurance rather than forcing growth.

I would like to apologize to every I've unfortunately misinformed, i should've done my research instead of spitting nonsense to people on the internet, i really just assumed that the chin up is mainly for the back, but.... I was wrong, it is indeed a biceps exercise, and a great one too, some even consider it as the greatest exercise for biceps, I'm incredibly sorry for the misinformation I've said before and hopefully, the 700 people that liked this comment will understand my reasons for such mistakes.

Chin ups are so underrated. I went from 14 inch arms to 17 inch arms after implementing chin ups and dips into my workouts

Not true, they do, but that's not all you want to do. Do both exercises...do pullups, chinups, neutral grip pullups (if your pullup bar has the handles) hammer curls with dumbbells, bicep curls with dumbbells, ez bar curls and finally straight bar curls with a barbell. Do them all, don't limit yourself. I don't understand these influencers who constantly single out certain exercises. Just about any exercise will work to a certain extent and will work different parts of that muscle. Just don't become overly reliant on that exercise and not be afraid to change it up here and there. It also prevents you from getting bored.
