Let’s talk about the best ways to increase growth hormone, especially as you age.

In adults, growth hormone is crucial for muscle building and fat burning. It’s also important for building tendons, ligaments, collagen, joints, and bones. However, growth hormone dramatically decreases with age.

Side effects of a deficiency in growth hormone can include:
• Difficulty building muscle
• Cognitive issues
• Lowered mood
• Higher levels of LDL
• Hair loss
• Insomnia

Here are the top things that can block growth hormone:
• Insomnia
• Sleep apnea
• High blood sugar
• High insulin
• Chronic stress
• Liver problems

The pituitary gland produces growth hormone. Instead of replacing the hormone with a synthetic version, why don’t we support the gland that makes growth hormone?

How to increase growth hormone naturally:
1. Try Pituitrophin PMG from Standard Process
2. Do intense exercise
3. Take milk thistle (if you have a liver problem)
4. Get on the Healthy Keto® diet
5. Do cold immersion therapy
6. Do heat therapy
7. Do intermittent fasting

Some people find their muscles look flat or dehydrated after getting on keto. In this situation, it’s important to drink plenty of water with electrolytes, especially potassium and sodium. This will help keep the muscles hydrated. You could also try increasing your carbs to 50 grams per day by consuming foods like berries but still avoiding refined carbs and sugar.

I am 61 years old; 62 in one week. I have never told you how much you have helped me with my health and weight loss. I was 282 when I started watching your health advice. The education about what I was eating was the reason I was overweight. The keto information, eating more salads, getting wheat gluten out of my life, no more Cornola oil foods. my sugar intake is very low now. I lost; without running or high levels of exercise 29 pounds. 253 is the new me and still cutting up. I have abs again and lost all the inflammation in my joints. I can ride my bike again. I eat 2 times a day fasting between. Thank you Thank you. I have shared it with everyone.

I'm 51, female, and got into IF and prolonged fasting 10 months ago. I lost fat and built muscle the most by my 3-day+ fasts. I've done 3 3-day, 1 4-day, and 2 5.5-day fasts in the last 10 months. I've only been this built back when I was at the gym lifting weights 3 times a week in my early 30s. Now I'm just living my rural farm life and have the same result because of the IF and prolonged fasting. And I'm omnivorous, clean keto with no supplementation for HGH.

It took me until 40 years of age to understand that recovery is as important as excersise. It's 1:1

Since I became familiar with Dr. Berg I have started being much more conscious of my carb intake, especially sugar. My PCP had me tested and he told me that I have a genetic predisposition to diabetes. I also found out that I was potassium and magnesium deficient. Learning from these videos has had an enormous effect on my personal preventative care routines.

My Keto and fasting journey has been fantastic. Recently though I’ve got a a strong urge to avoid what little vegetables and berries I was eating. I crave meat, butter, eggs, cheese and kefir. I feel better, fitter and stronger than ever.

As a 270lb bodybuilder. I can't do keto. I tried it many times. It isnt sustainable long term for guys like me. It severely destroys performance in the gym. 'Flat' muscles lead to easy injury when working out. I know from personal experience. If you aren't a bodybuilder sure keto is a good lifestyle diet. But bodybuilders need carbs to function properly and minimize risk of injury. If the goal is fat loss as a bodybuilder keto is fine, but you have much higher risk of injury especially if you go heavy. The water retention from high carb diets is what helps protect the joints and muscles when going heavier. Do with that information what you will. Have a blessed day.

Powerful message Dr. Berg.
I'm attempting a lot of these ideas already and they are slowly helping. Heck I am able to sustain longer nights and awake earlier because of your tips. Now to work on getting my growth hormone up for other results.

I have found that taking a hot shower right before bed and keeping the bedroom cold, puts me to sleep fast and I don't wake up until I've had 8-9 hours of sleep. Switching from a shower in the morning to a shower at night did wonders for my sleep. I've always slept with the A/C on 68 in the summer and heat shut off in the bedroom in the winter. I also use a white noise machine. My energy went through the roof. I'm 67, been diabetic for 12 years and on keto that long as well.

Sorry but the comment about plants increasing oxygen in your house while you are sleeping is just wrong (Assuming you sleep while it is night and with lights turned off)
Plants need light to make photosynthesis and they will not be producing oxygen while you are sleeping - They will however deplete oxygen in the air in the absence of light, since they need oxygen to live aswell.

Other than that, I support your message Dr. Eric - I love your videos and what they did for my health.
Thank you!
