I just want to highlight one important factor that I feel a lot of beginners overlook when going to failure. There are so many factors of going until failure, instead of putting your strongest weight when going until failure make sure that it’s a weight where you are able to control that mind-muscle connection, tempo, form etc. Instead of doing X kg on an exercise, do it 5kg lower and focus on form, slowing down the reps and focusing on the squeeze or the burn. This means you will be able to go until failure whilst actually WORKING your muscles rather than putting on your absolute strongest weight and just aimlessly pushing the weight. To some this may seem quite obvious but to others this is game-changing.

Love the content and how there’s no bullshit intro or fluff. It just cuts straight to the overall message, keeping the video short and direct. Great work

Most important thing i learned from these vids are the pre exhaustion sets and i cant stress enough how i hate chest and back days cuz i barely feel like im hitting the right muscles. I dont think im even hitting my chest in some days, but now i know why. Thanks frankie!

i been trying to find a way to engage my back more because i have a relatively small back and my arms are a bit stronger than my back if you’re looking at it at a proportionate point of view. gym straps/grips have helped so much in engaging more . i used to watch many videos on these studies proving this or that for better back growth. but your tips are so down to earth and helpful. you ain’t tryna fool anyone and you’re genuinely helping me with my gains and i’m sure i can speak for so many others. keep it up man, appreciate the work you put in for these videos 💪💪

ngl i’ve adjusted my whole split according to your vids, every one of them too! First was the chest, then the tri and back. Love the content tbh, they’ve been a tremendous help. Keep it up!

Noticed my back progress sky rocket over the past year and it was because I implemented the same tips you mentioned in this video (especially rest). Just reassured the secrets!

So true, i just started using pullover as my first excersie and the mind-muscle connection is really high. And the pull with your back, not arms idea is probably what im struggling the most rn, thank for the vid!

Back is the first main muscle for aesthetic

I agree. My back didn't really grow for years because my arms were doing all the work. Biceps and forearms sure got big though! Everyone says, "do pullups!!", but I say screw pullups until your back is noticeably developed, then you can start doing them. The exception being assisted pullups obviously, but full body weight is way too much when starting out. Stick with pulldowns or assisted pullups. Go LIGHT and just focus on getting a pump in your lats, then you'll actually discover what your lats feel like. Cable pullovers are also fantastic!
