“I don’t even know where to take it?” immediately followed by “do I just leave him here?” really highlights the messed up situation people get put into. Jayce is torn how to even describe the person he just killed and it’s a masterpiece in establishing a character’s outlook that I cannot wait to see develop.

I love the reality check Vi gave him, of course he feels bad for watching a kid die, but he doesn’t realise that’s what’s been happening for years

He didn't die quick. That was smart writing.
They showed what it is like to die. Sometimes from a fall like that you do go quick.
Others you suffer. And Jayce needed to see that consequence play out

To put this to jarringly end a badass action filled scene was perfect. Sure, all the cool fighting and tricks are fun to watch. Right until the reality of what's going on hits. And just like with Jayce it hits like a brick so fast you don't even fully register it initially. I remember the shock and out loud just going "you just shot a kid" several times as what just happened hit.

Killing that boy was a wake-up call for Jayce, seeing the consequences for his actions.

Jinx: Commits acts of murderous terrorism with zero remorse, plus accidently kills her adopted brothers.
Everybody: Whatever.

Man I hate how some people think this show had no stakes cause known characters wouldn't die. Jayce going through this is infinitely more interesting to his story

*FUN FACT:* In this scene Vi would be absolutely no match for Jayce in a fight despite her combat experience. Those who don't play the game really can't quite understand how grossly overpowered the mercurial hammer actually is but basically it makes him faster, stronger, more durable and more or less one of the slipperiest champions of all on top of the absurd combos he can pull off with it. Vi has no chance here. None.

Was the mother of the boy ever shown before? Everytime I watch reactors watching the show they say “ohhh that was HER son?” As if she was seen before. Am I missing something or?

now killing a child, thats something entirely worse. especially knowing theres parents out there waiting for their child to come home. knowing all these facts would drive any sane person with any morality crazy.
