Sevika's answer translated
"Get your shit together Silco, or next time I might actually betray you"

Silco was wearing a red shirt and brown pants. Clearly he was ready for either outcome of this conversation.

It's really cool that Silco didn't have complete control of situations.

I LOVE that they gave him that expression afterwards. Showing that even villains aren't always in control. Man really knew what was coming and flipped that coin.

Love how Sevika doesn't completely answer the question when Silco asks "were you tempted?", instead she just says "not for a worm like him" as if it was someone better than Silco then she wouldn't have hesitated to betray him.

This is something many shows fail at doing. The villain is completely calm, or smiles, satisfied. They come off as all-knowing, like they predicted everything that was gonna happen which can be... Boring.

Silco, though? Silco was fucking terrified. You can see it so clearly. He didn't know what was going to happen. He could have died then and there, and there was nothing he could have done, and he knows it. It's so humane. Relatable. It makes him a person, not a plot device.

No wonder he's so popular.

This showed Sevika at her best for me, her words pretty much meant, "I'm loyal to the goal of Zaun being a nation, not to you" and now Silco knows exactly where they stand.

You know what's funny? Finn wasn't wrong.
Silco did die that day, right before Jinx blew the council to hell.

Silco: “all according to plan”
Also Silco: “oh shit I almost died”

Just can't get over how Silco was sweating bullets the whole time then recovers like he didn't just shit his pants the instant he felt the air shift. Excellent instance of the confident schemer actually losing control and not totally imploding in on themselves.

What a gamble. He knew that mentioning loyalty was the only thing that might bring her back to his side. He didn’t know if the hand would win, but he played it anyways and came out on top. Such good writing. A villain who isn’t 100% in control is such a breath of fresh air.

I didn't notice until now that Sevika pulls out and dusts off the chair for Finn. It's probably why Silco had that slight look of unease on his face as she walks around the table. It looks super sus when your most loyal follower is acting like a butler to a rival.

This was one of my favourite scenes, the tension and the humanity that you see in silco, so epic.

2:18 Look at the ash tray, that's Jinx drawing. Imagine CEO desk full of his daughter's paint...lol

The clicking of the lighter. The blade creeping down. The monologue. This scene is honestly so well done, the tension leads up so well.

I feel like when Silco asks "you're with him are you?" he meant Sevika and played it cool until his speech paid off.

Sevika is so great in this. She has all the Cards in her Hand, at this moment she chooses who gets to Rule undercity. At this moment she is the most powerful Person in the City. And she plays it cool as if there was never a Question of her Loyalty.

I love how Sevika is essentially portrayed as the angel of Death on Silco's shoulder here.
Excellent storytelling.

I must say, I like the relationship Silco and Sevika have. She is comfortable to be open about how she feels about him and his stuff, she is not afraid of him. Silco, on the other hand, trusts her, since she is indeed open and loyal.
How many times do we see true honesty and lotalty between the villain and their second in command?
