From Viktor's PoV, Ekko came out of nowhere, perfectly dodged every single one of his freakish killer robots with 0 mistakes, teleported in front of him and threw a hexcore at his face when he was supposed to be the only one with one of those

Jayce: "I'm killing myself."
Viktor: "I'm also killing myself."
Season 2:
"We're killing ourselves together!"

Maybe the real Arcane is the friends we killed ourselves with along the way.

2:04 its confusing but it works like this:
1. Victor reached Glorious Evolution and took over the planet. He was left alone in an empty dreamless solitude with nothing to do.
2. Realising his mistake he began time traveling back to Episode 1 of Arcane when Jayce was a child, a gave him an arcane rune, and watched the timeline grow
3. Every single time he was giving a Arcane rune to child Jayce the outcome was the same for all victors in all timelines, so he kept switching the runes, giving a different one everytime
4. finally after all those attempts we got the "TV show arcane" timeline, where Ekko and Heimerdinger got transfered into one of Victors "rune" universes, where Vi was dead. In that universe, Ekko and Heimerdinger crafted a new time machine, using the Acceleration rune (the one given in episode 1)
5. Finally we come to the ending where Victor reaches glorious evolution, but this time Ekko has the time machine hexcore, which stunlocked Victor for a second, changing the ending of those hundreds of universes created by old victor.
6. Using this small moment of freedom, Jayce actually hugs Victor - transfering him the memory, of seeing old man victor, and the "Dead world" of glorious evolution.
7. He's the first victor to wake up from the cycle (facemask damaged) and deciding to end it. So old man Victor finally found the correct rune, which will end the Glorious Evolution cycle.

I could imagine Viktor tweaking in his head after being so close to reaching Glorious Evolution, but then this random kid he never met or saw before managed to avoid being mind controlled, effortlessly dodge a whole army, and throw an impossible singularity bomb on his face

this scene was so perfect to me, Im so sad they are gone but god its was so well done and beautiful...the whole every universe they meet thing had be bawling cause it reminded me of everything everywhere all at once T_T arcane is gonna kill me!!! this scene was a all time fav for sure, love these two
