Something I think people might've missed: the Hexcore is kept at a low temperature, so whenever the science bros were in the chamber, we could see their breath. That's very much the case here too with Jayce.

But Salo's not breathing. We don't see his breath even once.

The 2 of them really went 180 and then 180 again in just 2 scenes. Viktor went from "Hextech is danger" to "Hextech is saviour" and Jayce vice versa

The question that has been at the back of my mind since this WHAM of a scene (quite literally) is "What the hell did Jayce even experience in there to make him willing to MURDER! This is a complete 180 from his character up until now!"

Jayce’s intro is so cool- the way the arcane is materialising him and he’s just twitching like a mad man

It's not that Salo isn't breathing, he has to intake and expel air to talk. BUT there is no warmth in his body. He is a dead puppet or he had been transformed and his body is no longer being close to human, another sort of death. sm

This scene was what made me realize shit was going to go down, and go down fast.

Jayce was always the 'good' guy, calm, somewhat collected, a bit easily misled and manipulated, etc. If he was the 'main character' for a season or an entirely different show it'd be a good show on it's own.

Then he fucking BRAINS Salo with a hammer with a look of utter hate and rage, and you can tell he's not going to stop with just one. The way the blood sticks to the 'camera', the panting, the animalistic look of desperation.

The rest of the season didn't disappoint, he didn't backtrack or 'apologize' or find out he was wrong. He was right, he knew he was right 100% for reasons we found out later, and he was going to kill everyone and everything he had to in order to save the world.

Theory based on league:

Jayce touched the Arcane and went to the future hence the whole messed up hair and figure, and saw the effects of the glorious evolution.

One example is Salo the one frame where Salo glitch is the what Jayce saw in the future where Salo becomes a follower and a construct of Victor's glorious evolution.

Explaining how Jayce can just easily kill Salo and finishes off Victor.

Guys, I know it's very subtle, but I think Jayce killed Salo
He said he couldn't let him go and then proceed to bonk him like he was a nail and then the screen fills with blood.
It's almost impossible to notice but I think I nailed it, like Jayce.
