hey victor, i rlly love ur process videos! when my hand hurts too much to draw i sometimes watch ur process vids, and its also a great way of learning.

i was wondering how u pick ur references (assuming that u do use references, , , if u use ur imagination only for these ur insane 😳)? i only began studying environment/background art for a month and ive mostly been doing studies, and im not too sure how exactly i should start an original environment painting. so yeah, how do u pick references? and any tips on original paintings?
