All of these princesses seem to have mommy or daddy issues, none of them live in modern times, and they all have giant eyes. We saved the most perplexing similarity for last. Though Brave was a very musical movie Merida actually NEVER sings.

some princesses didn't wear blue (Rapunzel, Moana, Pocahontas) unless there were counting necklaces

And some of them didn't have pets and I'm including the ones that went into a forest where there just happens to be wildlife.

I feel the need to point out that if disney princesses had normal waists that they would still have some curves

The reason they don't have parents is because when they were written people died a lot and that is how the stories were written. Though if Disney stayed true to the original stories they would be a lot grimmer. Ariel would have died, Cinderella stepsisters would have cut off their toes and heal to make the slippers fit and so on
